Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a PowerBI Technical Administrator to ensure smooth DW/BI operations in a fully remote role based in the United States. The candidate will install, configure, and optimize BI/ETL software for data warehousing and reporting needs, while ensuring security and performance across environments.

Collaboration with analysts and leadership is essential. The role emphasizes building interactive Power BI dashboards, data modeling, and managing data source connections and refresh schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience or commensurate industry experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards translating business requirements into visuals.
• Build data models with Power Query (M) and DAX for accurate reporting.
• Connect Power BI to data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, cloud services) and manage refresh schedules and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Generates Ad-Hoc PBI Reports.
• Builds and optimizes Power BI dashboards and data models for stakeholders.
• Installs, configures, and tunes DW/BI software for performance and security.
• Manages user access and security per enterprise guidelines.
• Performs software upgrades and patches to ensure security and functionality.
