Job summary

McBride Consulting is seeking a PowerBI Developer for a banking client in a remote-capable role. The candidate will design dashboards and semantic models, and support the front end of the Microsoft BI stack, collaborating with a Data Engineer to turn curated data into meaningful insights for business decisions.

You will build and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, partner with stakeholders to define requirements, and leverage Microsoft Fabric and Copilot Studio to enhance reporting

Qualifications

• Power BI report and dashboard development mandatory, including publishing and workspace management.
• Data modeling (fact/dimension / star schema) for reporting performance.
• DAX for KPIs, measures, and analytical logic.
• Strong SQL and data integration across multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
• ETL / data transformation to cleanse and standardize data
• Data visualization for both operational and executive audiences

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Work with the Data Engineering team within Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop AI-enabled reporting experiences using Copilot Studio and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
• Improve reporting performance, governance, and self-service analytics across the business.
• Work with Excel to build detailed reports with heavy data requirements, and support project management and contractual compliance.
