Job summary

Razor Consulting Solutions seeks a Senior Power BI Developer to lead end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI and Fabric. The role focuses on scalable reporting, data quality, and KPI-driven insights for clients, with remote work options within North Dakota or Minnesota.

You will design dashboards, scorecards, and semantic models, while standardizing branding and accessibility across platforms. Strong communication and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions including SQL, data modeling, DAX, Power Query and deployment.
• Ability to work remotely within North Dakota or Minnesota.
• Hands-on experience building Microsoft Fabric solutions including Lakehouse, Data Factory pipelines and notebooks.
• Experience designing scorecards, governing metrics, and integrating complex source data into analytic models.
• Experience designing standardized Power BI themes and accessibility aligned with branding.
• Experience with data analysis, process modeling and user experience design.
• Expertise in analyzing business processes and defining requirements (business, functional, technical).
• Experience building automation and data integration with Fabric, Power Platform and AI to reduce manual effort.
• Working knowledge of Python for Fabric notebooks, data prep or reporting automation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI reports, dashboards and scorecards for operational and executive audiences.
• Design end-to-end solutions across Fabric and Power Platform including data ingestion and pipelines.
• Build and maintain executive scorecards with KPIs and data-quality measures.
• Analyze business problems and identify actionable insights for improvement.
• Understand client needs and design effective BI solutions within constraints.
• Establish and monitor data quality, security and integrity controls across sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define source-to-report architecture and deployment standards.
• Create and maintain reporting and process documentation.
