Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a PowerBI Technical Administrator to ensure smooth operations of our data warehousing and BI environments. You will install, configure, and optimize DW/BI software, build dashboards, manage data models, and secure access for users across the organization.

This fully remote role in the United States requires strong Power BI expertise, experience with data integration, and a focus on performance and security. Competitive salary and comprehensive perks are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience or commensurate experience.
• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and optimize data models using Power Query (M) and DAX for accurate reporting.
• Connect Power BI to data sources and manage refresh schedules, gateways, and permissions.

Responsibilities

• Generates Ad-Hoc PBI Reports.
• Conducts Power BI Training (Instructor-led).
• Installs and configures DW/BI software to meet customer needs.
• Continuously tunes environment to optimize performance.
• Manages user access and security per enterprise guidelines.
• Evaluates vendor software updates and applies patches.
• Recommends changes to software/hardware for better DW/BI performance.
• Ensures smooth DW/BI operations through monitoring and patching.
• Performs upgrades to incorporate new features and security.
