Job summary

VAL-CO is seeking a Poultry & Controls Territory Sales Manager to drive revenue for control product lines in domestic swine and poultry markets. The role emphasizes consultative selling, clear technical communication, and disciplined sales execution.

This remote position requires travel within the territory, including the Upper Midwest or Canada. A background in agriculture sales and strong presentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or Engineering.
• 5+ years in agricultural systems and/or precision ag equipment sales preferred.
• Knowledge of ag business structures or live production; poultry ventilation knowledge is a plus.
• Dealer-channel selling experience strongly preferred.
• Strong presentation, writing, and CRM/PC skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to travel extensively in the U.S. and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and close sales for VAL-CO control product lines across domestic swine and poultry markets.
• Deliver live and virtual product demonstrations.
• Coordinate with Marketing on new-product launch plans and feed market feedback to Product Management.
• Manage opportunities end-to-end from pre-sale to post-sale follow-up.
• Contribute to operating and sales goals for assigned products.
