Job summary

NOVACARD is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain their Data Warehouse infrastructure. This role involves ensuring database stability and collaborating with engineering and analytics teams. The position is fully remote, providing an opportunity to work on a new digital product aimed at the Mexican market.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL and strong knowledge of PL/pgSQL. Familiarity with high-load clusters and Linux systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience administering PostgreSQL servers.
• Strong knowledge of PL/pgSQL; ability to write stored procedures and triggers.
• Experience designing and maintaining high-load systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve requests related to DWH databases.
• Collaborate with teams to address interdependent issues and support requests.
• Ensure the stability and performance of production DWH systems.
