Job summary

Multi Media, LLC is seeking a Staff Database Engineer to own the reliability of its large PostgreSQL environment. You will help ensure high availability, rapid recovery, and high performance across multi-terabyte clusters.

You’ll join the Site Reliability Engineering team to diagnose incidents, upgrade databases, and improve backups, monitoring, and runbooks while supporting growth and new product changes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years operating PostgreSQL in large-scale environments.
• Deep PostgreSQL reliability knowledge: replication, failover, backup, recovery, HA.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving complex production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day reliability and health of PostgreSQL environments across clusters.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, and maintenance with minimal disruption.
• Improve HA, backup/restore, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Lead incident responses and implement preventing improvements.
