Job summary

Solventum is hiring a Portfolio Manager – Finance Data Office to own and enhance the FDO portfolio intake, governance, and reporting. You will lead cross-functional programs, maintain Jira as the truth source, and collaborate with executives to translate portfolio data into clear updates on priorities, risks, and business value.

The role demands strong communication, leadership, and multi-project management with the ability to drive improvements in governance and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Engineering, Business, Business Administration or Information Technology AND eight (8) years of progressive experience in project and/or portfolio management
• PMP or PgMP Certification
• Three (3) years experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
• Three (3) years experience with Jira, portfolio management tool or Power BI and executive reporting platforms
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple high priority projects
• Ability to communicate effectively to leadership on progress and recommendations on removing barriers
• Ability to manage a small team of professionals successfully

Responsibilities

• Own and improve FDO portfolio intake and governance processes
• Maintain Jira as the single source of truth for FDO demand and milestones
• Lead stakeholder communications and executive reporting
• Project manage high-priority FDO initiatives with cross-functional teams
• Monitor portfolio performance: capacity, budget, backlog, risks
• Drive continuous improvement and governance reporting standards
