Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. in Cincinnati is seeking an entry-level Analyst to support the Corporate Specialty and Government Credit Products team in portfolio management and underwriting activities.

You will develop skills in credit and market analysis, including cash flow modeling, capitalization, industry research, credit policy, and legal documentation, while collaborating with Relationship Management and Capital Markets to assess client creditworthiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• FINRA Series 79, 63 or combination required, or must be obtained within 4 months of hire.
• Experience in underwriting or a commercial banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
• Complete financial spreads, risk rating, performance tearsheets, and other portfolio monitoring activities
• Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies.
• Conduct industry and market research using numerous resources; distill key themes into concise summaries for presentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
