Job summary

The Huntington Bancshares, Inc. Credit Products team is looking for an entry-level Analyst to support portfolio management and underwriting activities.

You will build skills in cash flow analysis, financial modeling, industry research, and credit policy while assisting senior team members. You will collaborate with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets and other partners to produce concise credit analyses and maintain loan portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Experience in underwriting or a commercial banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
• Complete financial spreads, risk ratings, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring activities.
• Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington policies; includes financial statement analysis, collateral analysis, financial modeling, industry and business risk evaluation.
• Conduct industry and market research using various resources and distill key themes into concise summaries for presentation.
