Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking an entry-level Credit Analyst for the Portfolio Management team. The role supports underwriting and ongoing portfolio management for corporate, specialty, and government credit products.

You will develop skills in cash flow analysis, financial modeling, and industry research while collaborating with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, and Capital Markets in a structured development track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• FINRA Series 79, 63 or equivalent must be obtained within 4 months.
• Experience in underwriting or commercial banking environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loans and credit products.
• Complete financial spreads, risk rating, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring activities.
• Underwrite complex commercial loans per Huntington credit policies, including financial analysis, collateral analysis, and modeling.
• Conduct industry and market research and distill key themes for presentations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
