American AgCredit is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to evaluate and service commercial and real estate loans, pursuing new business through marketing and development programs.

The role requires 5–7 years in banking or agricultural lending, a BA/BS in a related field, and strong credit/analytical skills; familiarity with FCA regulations is expected. This part-time remote/hybrid position offers a path to growth.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years banking or agricultural lending experience.
• BA/BS degree in agribusiness, business, or equivalent.
• Strong credit and analytical skills and knowledge of lending policies.
• FCA regulations and Farm Credit System knowledge.
• Organized, able to prioritize deadlines and communicate well.
• Proficient with PC, word processing, email and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants and prepare loan applications and financial statements.
• Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements).
• Input data into loan origination and processing systems.
• Analyze credit information and determine need for further investigation.
• Recommend loan approval/denial within lending authority.
• Verify documents and communicate loan terms and collateral requirements.
