American AgCredit is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to analyze and evaluate large commercial and real estate loan applications, service loans, and pursue new business through marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience.
• BA/BS degree with emphasis on agribusiness, business administration, or equivalent.
• Strong credit and analytical skills and knowledge of FCA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants; prepare loan applications, financial statements and budgets.
• Prepare spreadsheets of financial statements, e.g., balance sheets and income statements.
• Input data into loan origination and loan processing systems.
• Review credit and financial information and assess credit-worthiness.
• Analyze loan applications and supporting documents and recommend approval/denial.
