American AgCredit seeks a Portfolio Analyst to evaluate large commercial and real estate loan applications, service loans, and pursue new business through organized marketing programs. This role requires strong credit analysis and financial statement skills.

The candidate will interact with customers, coordinate with title companies, and may serve on loan committees. A BA/BS and 5–7 years of agribusiness lending experience are required, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience.
• BA/BS degree with emphasis on agribusiness, business administration, or equivalent.
• Strong credit and analytical skills; knowledge of FCA regulations and Farm Credit System policies.

Responsabilités

• Interview loan applicants; prepare loan applications, financial statements and budgets.
• Prepare spreadsheets of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements).
• Input data into loan origination and loan processing systems.
• Analyze credit information; determine need for further investigation and provide opinions on credit-worthiness.
• Recommend approval/denial of loans within lending authority; review collateral.
