Job summary
Sentara Health Plans is seeking an entry-level Epic Population Health IT Associate Analyst to support Epic Population Health applications including Healthy Planet, Inpatient Case Management, and EpicCare Link. The role collaborates with clinical, operational, and technical teams to analyze workflows, test software, and resolve issues.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, HIM, Health Admin, IT, or related field (or 5 years' relevant experience).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, HIM, Healthcare Administration, IT, or related field (Required).
- Or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- 3 years of healthcare/clinical informatics or IT analyst experience with a degree; 5 years in lieu of degree.
- Experience with clinical case management, care coordination, or population health programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, optimization, testing, and maintenance of Epic Population Health apps.
- Analyze workflows, support system enhancements, evaluate software releases, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to improve patient outcomes and clinician efficiency.
