Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Policy Strategist to analyze Medicaid policy, translate findings into practical recommendations, and guide decisions across product, design, and engineering teams.

This role supports an integrated eligibility platform and improves government services through policy-driven implementation. You will research federal and state requirements, develop research plans, and synthesize analyses into concrete recommendations that improve service experiences while

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing Medicaid policy and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to research federal/state requirements and guide decisions.
• Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and oral communication in technical and policy contexts.
• Experience with agile delivery and human-centered design processes.
• Knowledge of eligibility rules and business rules in policy implementation.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Translate policy into system behavior, workflows, and user experiences.
• Support testing and validation of policy implementation.
• Identify regulatory constraints and edge cases and propose solutions.
• Conduct cross-jurisdictional policy landscape research.
• Collaborate with external partners to share Nava’s policy expertise.
