Job summary

Awin is seeking a Head of Project Management to lead a globally distributed PMO and senior project management team. You will shape the strategic portfolio, drive executive reporting, and partner with senior leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will guide the PMO to a value-driven culture, coach leaders, and apply AI to improve efficiency while maintaining strong human judgment in a remote/hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Project or Program Management with 3+ years in people leadership.
• Experience leading remote or hybrid digital teams.
• Certification or degree with governance and portfolio prioritisation knowledge.
• Experience using AI to improve PMO efficiency while maintaining human leadership.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and translating strategy into executable programs.
• Strong executive-facing communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Own the PMO portfolio, prioritise initiatives aligned to strategy and capacity.
• Lead shaping and mobilisation of strategic initiatives for delivery.
• Own executive reporting including C-level updates and board materials.
• Drive AI-enabled improvements to reduce low-value work.
• Coach and develop Senior Project Managers and Lead Program Manager.
• Define portfolio decision pathways and escalate with data-driven recommendations.
• Monitor signals to anticipate risks and coordinate mitigation.
• Partner with senior leadership to align OKRs with strategy.
• Evolve PMO capabilities and promote a value-driven culture.
