Job summary

Lever, Inc. seeks a hands-on PMO Lead to implement and operationalize new project and portfolio management processes for a nonprofit client undergoing a complex digital transformation.

The role will stand up the PMO function, guide adoption by staff and leadership, and ensure risks and issues are identified and escalated appropriately. The position is contract-based, with preference for candidates in Los Angeles or Bay Area, but fully remote work is possible.

Qualifications

• Experience standing up a PMO or project portfolio process.
• Experience operating a Smartsheet workspace is required.
• Contract type: 1099/B2B and able to establish a business entity.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and roll out the PMO processes and procedures under guidance from the Digital Transformation Lead.
• Introduce the processes to staff and leadership to enable adoption.
• Manage project intake, setup, status reporting, milestones, governance and closure.
