Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Director, Business Development Manager - PMO to expand the PMO portfolio across new markets. This role will require extensive travel to build client relationships and lead end-to-end business development initiatives.

You will collaborate with leadership to craft value propositions, develop market strategies, and drive profitable growth in High-Tech, Infrastructure, and Utility sectors. Remote collaboration across dispersed teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in business development, sales, or consulting in Technology, Infrastructure, Utilities or related industries.
• 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of PMO services (project, program, and portfolio management).
• Experience with PMO software/tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of meeting business development targets and expanding into new markets.
• Established ability to write winning RFx proposals.
• Detail oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, and a team player with a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency with MS Office / SharePoint / Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to understand PMO strengths and develop strategies for growth.
• Identify, develop, and secure new PMO business opportunities from start to finish.
• Lead marketing of a complex PMO capabilities portfolio and act as primary client interface.
• Create business cases and lead proposal efforts including cost estimation and competitive ranking.
• Analyze market trends to find new opportunities in High-Tech, Infrastructure, and Utility sectors.
• Maintain strong client relationships with key clients and partners.
• Attend networking activities and conferences to connect with prospective clients.
• Collaborate with PMO leadership to tailor service delivery models to client needs.
• Participate in client debriefings and share lessons learned to improve performance.
• Foster entrepreneurial growth culture across the business unit and organization.
• Build repeatable strategies to scale development efforts over time.
• Perform other responsibilities as appropriate.
