Job summary

Baylor Genetics is seeking a senior leader to guide a team of project and program managers in planning and delivering cross-functional programs across product development, clinical operations, IT, and regulatory/compliance. The ideal candidate has deep experience in regulated laboratory environments and a proven ability to drive results in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Life Sciences, Health Admin, Business or Engineering.
• 10+ years in new product development, program and/or portfolio management in biotech or diagnostics.
• 8+ years in Program Management or Portfolio Management.
• 3+ years in a people leadership role.
• Experience managing large cross-functional programs with complex systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Mature PMO capabilities and institute best practices, tools, and discipline.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to define objectives, priorities, and success metrics.
• Drive governance with KPIs, timelines, budgets, and reporting structures.
• Report progress to executive leadership with dashboards and reviews.
• Identify and mitigate risks; accelerate issues to maintain timelines.
• Manage dependencies and resource allocation across teams.
