Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Durham, North Carolina. The role involves providing psychiatric assessments in in-person and telemedicine settings for diverse clients aged 14+, with compensation ranging from $130,000 to $187,000 per year based on 25–35 hours weekly.

Requirements include PMHNP board certification, Master's in Nursing with prescriptive authority, and experience in psychiatry.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
• Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and live in the practicing state.
• All new hires complete ADHD treatment standards training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Make Psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing in-person and telemedicine capacity.
• Willingness to treat 14 years old and up.
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed.
• Create and collaborate with clients on care plans.
• Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools for clients.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services at the various sites.
