Job summary

Thriveworks is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Greensboro, North Carolina. The role involves in-person and telemedicine care for diverse clients aged 14 and up, with a focus on safe, guideline-driven treatment and collaborative care planning.

Requirements include PMHNP board certification and a Master’s in Nursing with prescriptive authority in North Carolina. Competitive compensation and ramp stipend for 30+ hours per week are offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• Experience in psychiatry is preferred; 1 year required, 3 years a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients.
• Treat clients aged 14 and up, in-person and via telemedicine.
• Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
• Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
• Complete and administer paperwork and assessment tools per guidelines.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors on clients and services.
