Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Durham, North Carolina to provide adult and adolescent mental health care via telemedicine and in-person sessions. This W2, fee-for-service position offers flexible hours and a competitive compensation range based on 25-35 clinical hours per week.

Qualified candidates hold PMHNP board certification, a current NC license, and prescriptive authority. Experience in psychiatry and with AdvancedMD EMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients in an ongoing in-person and telemedicine capacity.
• Willingness to treat 14 years old and up.
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to a diverse population of adults and adolescents with mental health conditions.
• Collaborate on care plans and complete necessary paperwork and assessments.
• Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines and coordinate with clinic leadership.
