Job summary

Rula is seeking a California-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its network as an independent contractor (1099). The provider will handle clinical assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning, including medication management, for patients seeking mental health care.

Rula manages credentialing, billing, and marketing, enabling clinicians to focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid CA DEA number.
• 1+ years as PMHNP with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, and crisis management.
• Independent licensure or with collaborating MD as required by CA law.
• PMHNP certification by ANCC.
• State PMP registration.
• No suspensions/debarments in past 3 years.
• Masters/Doctorate in PMH nursing.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessments, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning including medication management.
• Treat patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Access and use our EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from care coordination teams.
• Schedule: 0.5 hour follow-ups, 1 hour initial consultations.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing.
