Job summary

Rula is seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in California for an independent contractor role. Provide psychiatric assessments, diagnostic workups, and medication management, primarily via telehealth, while Rula handles credentialing and billing.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid California DEA number.
• At least 1 year as PMHNP with mental health assessment and treatment planning.
• Independent licensure or collaboration with MD as required by state law.
• ANCC PMHNP certification.
• Registered with state PMP.
• No suspension or debarment from federal programs in last 3 years.
• Masters or Doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health nursing.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments, including diagnostic workups and treatment planning including medication management.
• Work with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Have access to our EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from our Care Coordination teams.
• Engage with patients: 30-minute follow-ups and 60-minute initial consultations.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing.
