Job summary

Rula is seeking licensed PMHNPs to join its network of contracted providers as independent contractors. This opportunity requires an active, unrestricted California license and offers flexible scheduling, high-quality clinical support, and full practice management handled by Rula.

You will conduct psychiatric assessments, medication management, and crisis planning for diverse patients via telehealth. Rula provides credentialing, billing, marketing, and HIPAA‑compliant EHR support so you can

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid California DEA number.
• 1+ years as PMHNP with mental health assessment and crisis management.
• Independent licensure or working with collaborating MD as required by state law.
• PMHNP certification by ANCC.
• Active PMHNP national board certification (ANCC PMHNP‑BC or AANPCB PMHNP-C).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in PMH nursing.
• Telehealth capability and EMR navigation.
• No adverse license actions in past 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric assessments and treatment planning including medication management.
• Work with patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Access and use our EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from Care Coordination teams.
• Flexible scheduling with 60 min initial visits and 30 min follow-ups.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing.
