Job summary

Rula is seeking a PMHNP with an active California license to join its network as an independent contractor. You will conduct initial assessments and follow-up visits, manage treatment plans and medications, and collaborate with a support team to deliver quality mental health care.

Rula handles marketing, credentialing, billing, and insurance verification, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care while earning per-session compensation and structured back-office support.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted CA license with active DEA number.
• 1+ years as PMHNP with assessment, diagnosis, triage, med management and crisis care.
• Independent licensure or collaboration with MD as required by state law.
• PMHNP certification by ANCC.
• State PMP registration to prescribe/monitor controlled substances.
• No suspensions/debarments in past 3 years.
• Master's or doctoral degree in PMHN.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments including psychiatric workups and treatment planning with medication management.
• Care for patients with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction.
• Access and use the EHR and telehealth platform.
• Receive support from care coordination teams and credentialing staff.
• Allocate sufficient time: 1 hour for initial consults and 30 minutes for follow-ups.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing so you can focus on patient care.
