Job summary

Hygiena, a global provider of rapid microbiology diagnostics, seeks a Product Manager to own regulatory modules and traceability features within SureTrend. You will translate FSMA, HACCP, and EU standards into clear product requirements and user stories, prioritizing work based on risk, value, and feasibility.

You will collaborate with Engineering in Azure DevOps, define data models for traceability, and ensure compliance documentation supports sales, audits, and customer success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software products for regulated industries (life sciences, pharma, medical devices)
• Ability to translate dense regulatory text into software feature specs, PRDs and acceptance criteria
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 17025 and how audits are conducted
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate regulatory research, prototyping and documentation
• Understanding end-to-end quality workflows: inspection, hold-and-release, CAPA and recall readiness
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Azure DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product roadmap and revenue objectives for regulatory modules and traceability capabilities
• Translate regulatory mandates (FSMA, HACCP, Codex, GFSI standards, EU food law) into prioritized product requirements and PRDs
• Define traceability data model, KDEs, CTEs, ERP/SFTP integrations
• Serve as SME for food safety workflows and translate them into product decisions and customer docs
• Partner with Engineering in Azure DevOps for backlog refinement, sprint planning, and releases
• Monitor regulatory landscape and post-launch performance, driving continuous improvement
• Provide senior product leadership and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, and Compliance
