Job summary

Blew & Associates, P.A. in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Professional Land Surveyor to lead survey crews, review boundaries, deeds, and titles, and oversee field and office work to keep projects on time and within budget. Multiple state licensure a plus; remote work capability available.

You will analyze surveys, maps, and aerials, perform quantities and volumes calculations, and collaborate daily with drafting and operations. A valid PLS license and client development experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required; multiple state licensure a plus.
• Field and office experience in land surveying essential; detail‑oriented.
• Proven track record in acquiring new clients and generating revenue.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for collaboration and direction.
• Proven experience managing survey crews.
• Self-motivated, able to work remotely; on‑call one weekend every 3–4 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey; Quickbase knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage survey technicians and daily field/office operations.
• Perform boundary, easement, deed, and title reviews; conduct research at town/county/state levels.
• Evaluate surveys, field notes, maps, aerials, and related materials for project constraints.
• Calculate quantities and volumes; communicate updates to crew chiefs and operations team.
• Collaborate with drafting, design, and operations for status updates and plan revisions.
