Job summary

Symbotic is seeking an Integration Specialist II to startup, commission, test PLC‑controlled equipment, and complete systems integration at customer sites across the United States. This remote, field‑based role requires travel to client locations and close cooperation with engineering teams to ensure on‑time commissioning.

You will load and configure PLC software, verify hardware, and test full integration with the customer's WMS and HMI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, robotics, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Experience with PLCs and HMI systems from Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Siemens.
• Exposure to ABB or Fanuc robotics and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and basic SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems and remote access tools.
• Experience in motion control equipment (VFDs) is a plus.
• Strong collaboration in a team environment and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive commissioning of PLC-controlled equipment at customer sites.
• Load, configure, and test PLC software and HMI connections.
• Perform end-to-end hardware testing and WMS integration checks.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and support go-live.
• Collaborate with engineering, software, and support teams during projects.
• Travel up to 75% within US regions and ensure safety compliances.
