Curative is hiring a Platform Engineer (L2) to own critical pieces of our cloud infrastructure. You will design, deploy, and maintain services used by engineers daily, emphasizing reliability, IaC, and developer tooling. This is a fully remote role with a fast-growing platform team.

You will deepen expertise in cloud architecture, security, and CI/CD while collaborating across orgs. Curative values bold experiments and meaningful impact on patient access to care.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with a major cloud provider; AWS preferred.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (OpenTofu/Terraform).
• Proficient in Python or Go, and willing to work in both.
• Able to design, deploy, and operate CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong fundamentals in networking, storage, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure with OpenTofu and AWS.
• Own lifecycle of services and subsystems from design to production support.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for safe, fast releases.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex infra and performance issues.
• Incorporate security/compliance considerations (HIPAA) in decisions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and guide engineers on cloud/automation.
• Contribute to platform reliability and process optimization.
• Lead small projects: scoping, timelines, coordination.
• Participate in on-call rotation for owned systems.
