Supabase, a Postgres development platform, is seeking a Platform Software Engineer with deep experience in distributed systems. You will design, build, and maintain core services using TypeScript and Go to deliver scalable, secure systems at massive scale.

You will lead projects to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency, build data-intensive workflows and event-driven pipelines, and own service SLIs/SLOs while collaborating on incident response and post-incident reviews.

Qualificações

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems with strong fault tolerance and scalability.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Go with production services experience.
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and container orchestration.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement distributed services and APIs that power the Supabase Platform.
• Lead projects to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency across existing systems.
• Build data-intensive workflows, background jobs, and event-driven pipelines.
• Own service SLIs/SLOs and participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Improve observability with metrics, logging, tracing, and profiling.
• Contribute to CI/CD and release processes for safe, fast shipping.
• Partner with product teams to deliver end-to-end features from design to production.
• Write clear design docs, RFCs, and high-quality tests.
