Qualifications

• Proven backend experience in TS/Node (required)
• Direct experience with GCP; working knowledge of AWS, Azure
• Habit of delegating work you used to own, with tangible results
• Daily setup with AI agents; explain unattended runs and reviews
• Ability to verify results against logs and actual requests
• Judgment on not building unnecessary features and why
• Preference for being corrected over being right
• Docker and containerized deployments preferred
• Kubernetes for high-availability deployments preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own the APIs behind payments, subscriptions, auth, consumption tracking, and the public TTS API
• Improve services to be faster, cheaper, and harder to break
• Ensure correctness before shipping and maintain checks after changes
• Automate repetitive parts of the role to free time for hard problems
• Turn one-off work into repeatable team processes
• Design B2B and enterprise integrations for customers
