Job summary

Valce Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced contract Architect for our Fabric Platform Engineering team. This hands-on role blends architecture leadership with practical delivery across cloud-native platforms, APIs, data stores, and AI-enabled components.

Qualifications

• Strong architecture experience across cloud-native app, integration, data and security domains.
• Hands-on software engineering in at least one modern language (C#, Java, JS/TS or Python).
• Experience with agentic AI coding tools and AI-assisted delivery workflows.
• Azure experience: compute, storage, networking, security, Policy, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, containers and Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevSecOps (Azure DevOps / GitHub).
• Design access management and enterprise security patterns.
• Experience reusability, observability, cost optimization and debt control.
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders, product teams, engineers and architects across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture options.
• Produce architecture blueprints, high-level and low-level designs, technical decision records and implementation guidance.
• Design secure, scalable and reusable services, APIs, datastore patterns, integration approaches, UX-facing capabilities and common components.
• Turn architecture into implementation with hands-on prototyping, code review and design assurance.
• Promote reuse, define development standards and create common frameworks or accelerators.
• Plan and estimate, maintain architecture backlog and balance cost, risk, quality, security and time-to-market.
• Coordinate with other architects, security and engineering teams to align designs with enterprise standards.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery, quality, documentation, testing and productivity.
