Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a Contract Architect for Fabric Platform Engineering. The role covers hands-on architecture across platform products, APIs, datastores, UX, cloud and AI-enabled engineering.

You will partner with Product Managers, engineers and stakeholders to shape outcomes, produce architecture blueprints and implementation guidance, and turn designs into working code with prototyping and reviews. This remote Mexico-based role offers a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience across cloud-native architecture, data security and governance.
• Hands-on software engineering in modern languages; reading production code.
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools and delivery workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PMs, BAs and stakeholders to shape outcomes and translate requirements into architecture options.
• Produce architecture blueprints, high-level and low-level designs, and decision records.
• Design secure, scalable services, APIs, datastores and reusable components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement architecture through prototyping and code reviews.
• Promote reuse, set standards, and help create platform accelerators.
• Manage architecture backlog and balance cost, risk, security, and time-to-market.
• Coordinate with security, platform and engineering teams to align designs.
• Apply AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery and quality.
