Job summary

Liatrio is seeking a Lead Platform Engineer to own a portion of the technical scope, architect solutions, and lead a small team of engineers to deliver high‑quality platforms for clients.

You will design end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and deploy cloud‑native environments while embedding AI tooling into platform workflows to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Platform engineering experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship.
• Authorized to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
• Travel up to 25–50% depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined portion of the technical scope and lead your team through delivery.
• Architect platform solutions, design tradeoffs, and communicate with clients.
• Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines end-to-end.
• Write and manage production IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Design and deploy cloud-native platform environments (Kubernetes, etc.).
• Develop observability, metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Create developer tooling and self-service infrastructure to accelerate delivery.
• Integrate AI tooling into platform workflows and pipelines.
• Make day-to-day architecture decisions and surface risk early.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and support growth.
