Humana CenterWell is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and build the platform and API layer that connects AI capabilities, data systems, and product frontends. You will set standards for security, scalability, and operations while delivering full-stack features using TypeScript and Next.js.

The role focuses on architecture, API design, and secure, compliant engineering across the AI product stack, serving care teams and patients with a strong emphasis on platform quality and reliability.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python
• Experience building REST or GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of authentication (OAuth2, OIDC) and API security patterns
• Experience with Next.js and React

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs
• Establish security patterns; ensure HIPAA/PHI compliance
• Define patterns for integrating AI capabilities into product APIs
• Build logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure
• Contribute to full-stack features using TypeScript/Next.js
• Drive architecture reviews and backend engineering standards
