TransPerfect is seeking a Contract Litigation Attorney to support a growing plaintiff-side practice. The role focuses on legal research, drafting complaints, and handling discovery in U.S. civil matters, with independent work and collaboration with lead counsel.

The position is a 3-month temporary assignment in GARRISON, NY with potential for permanent placement. Remote work is possible for qualified candidates located in the United States or internationally.

Qualifications

• JD or international equivalent required.
• 3+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Experience drafting complaints and discovery in U.S. civil litigation matters.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Familiarity with state and federal court procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft complaints, amended complaints, and other pleadings for plaintiff-side matters.
• Draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other platforms.
• Prepare legal memoranda and case summaries.
• Assist with motions to compel and for summary judgment.
• Review case files and identify theories and strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to meet deadlines and objectives.
