Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Gas Pipeline Controller in NW Houston to operate pipelines, tanks and pumping equipment remotely in compliance with DOT and other regulations.

The role requires monitoring pipeline movements, adjusting operations, and coordinating with field personnel, customers and suppliers to ensure safety, efficiency and reliability. Candidates should have 60 college credits or equivalent oil/gas experience, and be prepared for a 12-hour rotating shift including

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours with oil and gas field operations/plant experience or minimum of 60 college credit hours with relevant oil and gas or air traffic controller experience in the military or on the job work experience operating as a pipeline controller or board operator in the oil and gas or chemical industry is required.
• Associates degree strongly preferred and relevant experience.
• 2-3 years of chemical or oil/gas industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Must have experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks and DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Remotely starting/stopping pumps and/or compressors and operating valves.
• Monitoring and controlling movement of material through pipelines and facilities.
• Analyzing alarms and changing conditions and making adjustments.
• Reviewing batch listings and schedules to determine times of events.
• Maintain communication with field personnel, customers, and suppliers to maximize efficiency and safety.
