Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to join the Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Memphis ATCT (MEM) and Memphis TRACON (M03) in Memphis, TN. The role supports FAA air traffic controller training with simulated pilot actions and phraseology.

The candidate will operate a radar/voice simulation, follow certifications, and assist in training programs to ensure high safety and professionalism in the NAS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read diagrams and manuals and speak clearly and be understood.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to mimic pilot actions.
• Input entries to simulate pilot actions and translate information into ATC terminology.
• Respond to students via the VCS using proper phraseology.
