Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to support FAA air traffic controller training at the AVP facility in Avoca, PA. The RPO will simulate pilot actions, operate radar and voice systems, and communicate with students using proper ATC terminology.

Candidates will complete classroom and lab certifications and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-fidelity training services under CTS. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals and to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate the simulated radar display and voice communication system to replicate pilot actions.
• Translate information into ATC terminology and respond to students via the VCS.
• Input correct entries into the automation system to simulate pilot activity.
• Support FAA ATC training programs and participate in multi-position simulations.
