Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator to support the FAA ATC training program at JFK, Jamaica, NY. The RPO participates in realistic simulator exercises, operating radar displays and voice systems to mimic pilots and remote facilities.

Candidates will complete required certifications and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-fidelity training, ensuring accurate phraseology and timely responses within the VCS.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals; speak clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate pilot actions and remote ATC facilities.
• Input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions.
• Translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology and respond via VCS with proper phraseology.
