Job summary

Smart1 Management Solutions, LLC seeks a Remote Pilot Operator to join the Controller Training Solutions team, partnering with SAIC for FAA training at the Jacksonville ARTCC. The RPO will simulate pilots and controllers, operate a radar/voice display, and respond to students with FAA-compliant phraseology.

Requirements include US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. A High School Diploma is required; teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with developers, QA, designers, instructors.
• Knowledge of FAA JO 7110.65 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the RPO in a training simulator, emulating pilots and controllers.
• Input entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions and ATC communications.
• Communicate using proper aviation phraseology and respond to students via VCS.
