Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Physics Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) for a remote hourly contract. You will design advanced physics problems and develop clear, step-by-step solutions while evaluating AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Physics or related field and can work independently, asynchronously. This role offers flexible hours and direct impact on AI model benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level topics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s degree (or higher) in Physics or related field.
• Strong analytical and multi-domain physics knowledge.
• Ability to write clearly and precisely on complex topics.
• Detail-oriented with systematic evaluation approach.
• Able to work independently and asynchronously.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more.
• Develop step-by-step solutions with clear, logical reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth and quality of reasoning.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to help AI models improve over time.
