Alignerr is seeking physics graduates to train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models remotely on a flexible hourly contract. You will design advanced physics problems, craft rigorous solutions, and assess AI reasoning for accuracy and clarity.

Ideal candidates hold a Masters in Physics or related field, with strong analytical and writing skills, and can work independently on a remote, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across core and advanced physics
• Able to communicate complex concepts clearly in writing
• Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating reasoning quality
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
• No prior AI experience required

Responsibilities

• Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
• Develop clear, rigorous step-by-step solutions that demonstrate expert-level reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and quality
• Collaborate with researchers to refine and expand benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI models improve over time
