Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring for a remote Physician Assistant to join the Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) team. The role supports Oscar Health Insurance members with evaluation and management visits, potentially cross-training to Virtual Urgent Care.

Report to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment. We offer 4‑day (10‑hour) or 5‑day (8‑hour) schedules, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and travel for meetings when needed.

Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC).
• 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Use prescriptive authority with Physicians on the care team for complex patients.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Use remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools for virtual exams.
• Participate in collaborative care with nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, and other clinicians.
