R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Physician Advisor to review payor peer-to-peer cases and advise on authorization decisions. You will evaluate case documentation for admission status, procedure, and care setting, and discuss findings with payor medical directors.

This remote US-based position requires MD/DO licensure and at least 3 years of clinical experience post-residency; base pay range is $150,075–$199,070 per year with a target bonus of 10%.

Formación

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO medical licensure.
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience post-residency completion.

Responsabilidades

• Review payor peer-to-peer cases for authorization denials and assess if documentation supports admission status, procedure, and care setting.
• Advise clients on appropriateness of requests based on available documentation and discuss cases with payor medical directors.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment and meet quality and productivity standards.
• Provide written case analyses and perform case reviews across multiple specialties.
