Job summary

Potomac Healthcare Solutions is hiring a Medical Provider to evaluate medical documentation for reasonable accommodations and to ensure compliance with the Rehabilitation Act and ADA. You will review employee requests and determine if documentation supports accommodation decisions, guiding what additional information may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience practicing as a Physician in Internal or Family Medicine.
• Knowledge of ADA, Rehabilitation Act of 1973, ADAA, FMLA and related federal disability and leave laws.
• State licensure in the United States as a Physician (MD) and current maintenance of licensure.
• Board certification in General Medicine.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical documentation for suitability of accommodation under the Rehabilitation Act and ADA.
• Advise on additional medical information needed when documentation is insufficient.
• Recommend alternative accommodations when requests are not feasible.
• Participate in ReAcTs for collaborative analysis with General Counsel and Employee Relations.
