Supporting Cast is seeking a passionate PHP developer to extend our podcast subscription platform. You will work on features for creators, publishers, and media partners from a small team with startup pace and established backing.

Requirements include 1–3 years PHP experience with Laravel, 1–2 years in AI/LLM tech, and the ability to learn on the job. The role is remote with East Coast hours, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional PHP experience with a framework such as Laravel.
• 1–2 years of experience with LLM-based AI.
• CS degree is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to adapt and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user- and administrator-facing features in our existing stack.
• Help us leverage AI tools to accelerate feature development and improve code quality and security.
• Build and maintain implementations for other websites, including embeds and third-party integrations.
• Scale an application as we onboard clients with tens of thousands of members and evaluate new technologies.
