Sales Match is hiring a Phone Support Agent for a fully remote role based in New Jersey, United States. You will handle inbound calls, verify information, and navigate CRM systems to resolve issues. The role requires a 40-hour weekly commitment with varying shifts.

Training will be provided on Five9, HubSpot, and Freshdesk. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience is required, though related customer-facing work is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required; related phone support experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn call handling, transfers, holds and closing steps.
• Basic understanding of customer account histories, tickets and reference materials.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer calls and greet customers professionally.
• Verify account information using approved steps before discussing requests.
• Review previous interactions in CRM to avoid repeating details.
• Ask focused questions and summarize issues to confirm understanding.
• Explain products/services using approved reference materials.
• Open or update service tickets with actions and next steps.
• Guide customers through simple service steps and confirm resolution.
• Escalate unresolved issues to team lead or specialist.
• Make follow-up calls for updates and handoffs between agents.
• Meet quality expectations with accurate notes and timely follow-up.
